We can provide a textured floor board for any pet that may have arthritis or problems getting up and down.

Boarding FAQs
Find answers to your questions about our services, policies, and everything B&S.
Do you have staff there overnight?

Generally, we are staffed 7 AM to 7 PM daily. We do not have staff members at the facility overnight. However, the manager lives on the premises and conducts a bed check around 10 PM each night.

What vaccinations do you require?

Dogs: Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella are required. K9 Influenza and fecal tests every 6 months are recommended. We can do fecal tests in house!
Minimum Age: 8 weeks with immunization series started
Spay/Neuter:
Required only for group daycare and group play (dogs 6 months and older)

Are your boarding fees daily or nightly?

Our boarding fees are per day. The day your pet checks in is the first day of boarding. Each day after that is a day of boarding. The day your pet checks out is the last day of boarding. However, if you pick up before noon, you will not be charged for that day.

Are you able to care for older pets who might need a little help each day?

Absolutely. Our kennel staff will gladly help your elderly pet get up and moving if needed, assist with blind or deaf guests, or any special needs old age may bring. For arthritic dogs, we offer a cedar board that lines the floor of the pen, giving them a little extra grip, as well as some additional insulation from the floor. Please feel free to discuss these special needs during check-in.

Do you accept dogs that can't be handled / are not friendly?

Yes, we welcome dogs of all temperaments, including dogs that are shy, reactive, or don't do well with handling. Our indoor/outdoor run design allows us to care for every dog safely without putting staff or other pets at risk. We have established protocols for working with difficult-to-handle dogs and even board police department K-9s regularly. Rest assured, our experienced team has seen it all. No dog is too challenging for us to care for with patience and professionalism.

What do you do in case of illness or injury?

We quickly assess the situation and consult a veterinary provider to determine the appropriate plan of action. Our concern is always what is best for the dog. Depending on the situation, we may either rush the dog to the closest vet or, in non-emergency situations, we will make the effort to take them to their normal vet. We always try to keep owners informed of the situation as it evolves.
