Private Daycare FAQs
What is private daycare?

Private daycare is boarding just for the day, not overnight. Common uses include having work done at your house and not wanting your pet in the way of workers, or worrying your pet might get loose if a door is left open.

Does private daycare include any playtime?

Yes, your pet gets one 15-minute individual play session with one of our attendants, as well as indoor/outdoor run access throughout the day as long as weather permits.

Does private daycare include any group playtime?

No, private daycare is designed for dogs who are not a good fit for group activities. If you would like your dog to participate in group activities, our group daycare would be a great option.

Does my dog have to be spayed or neutered?

No. Spay/neuter is not required for boarding or private daycare - only for dogs participating in group daycare or group play.

What is a temperament evaluation and do I need it?

A temperament evaluation is a meet-and-greet assessment completed by one of our trained staff members. A temperament evaluation is not required for dogs who are boarding or doing private daycare, unless they are participating in group activities.

A temperament evaluation is required for all new dogs participating in group daycare or group play, and for any dog returning after a 6-month gap. We'll ask a few questions about your dog, then introduce them gradually to a small group of well-balanced dogs in a calm, controlled setting. As your dog gets comfortable, we'll slowly integrate them into the main play group. Plan to leave your dog for a minimum of 3 hours for the evaluation. We reserve the right to require additional evaluations if behavioral concerns arise.

Does my dog need a fecal test?

No, a fecal test is only required if your dog is participating in group activities such as Daycare or Group Play.
