Small Animal Boarding in Avon, IN

We have a separate room for our small animal guests, which includes guinea pigs, hamsters, ferrets, rabbits, and sugar gliders. Our small animal room is heated and air-conditioned. With our small animal guests, you must provide their cages, food, water bottles, and bedding. Please make sure cages are clean before you come in. Our staff will feed, give fresh water, and change bedding daily, along with a lot of loving attention.

Boarding FAQs
Find answers to your questions about our services, policies, and everything B&S.
Do you have staff there overnight?

Generally, we are staffed 7 AM to 7 PM daily. We do not have staff members at the facility overnight. However, the manager lives on the premises and conducts a bed check around 10 PM each night.

What vaccinations do you require?

For Ferrets: Rabies and Distemper
For Rabbits: There is an optional RHDV2 (Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus type 2)
Other Animals: No vaccines required, but must be free of illness, parasites, and signs of stress at admission

Are your boarding fees daily or nightly?

Our boarding fees are per day. The day your pet checks in is the first day of boarding. Each day after that is a day of boarding. The day your pet checks out is the last day of boarding. However, if you pick up before noon, you will not be charged for that day.

What do you do in case of illness or injury?

We quickly assess the situation and consult a veterinary provider to determine the appropriate plan of action. Our concern is always what is best for the pet. Depending on the situation, we may either rush the pet to the closest vet or, in non-emergency situations, we will make the effort to take them to their normal vet. We always try to keep owners informed of the situation as it evolves.
